Niebuhr Animal Services than the trust of our clients and their animals. We are honored to care for pets and livestock throughout our community. Here are a few experiences shared by the families we have had the privilege of serving.

I met Erica while she was working at an Animal Hospital in my town. I have been with the practice since they opened in the early 1980’s. The usual multiple vet visits means I meet a lot of the employees. Very few have the personality and gifts that Erica has. In 2019 I met Erica and immediately sensed her gentle spirit. This is essential when a pet first encounters a new situation and a new person. Her professionalism was evident in the way she communicated with me and the way she interacted with my critters. This gave me immediate trust and confidence in her. At one point, I needed someone to check in daily with my mother in her 90’s, living alone and with dogs and cats, while I was out of town. Of course-Erica was the one. While away I never considered checking in with mother or Erica because I knew Erica well enough at this point that she was fully capable and totally reliable to handle any pet situation and any request my mother had with her house plants or other small needs. At this point, I am privileged to say Erica is also my friend.

Erica is absolutely the best! She stops by to care for Jordy and Eddy when we are out of town. Jordy is afraid of his own shadow, but somehow, Erica has the magic touch and he comes out and she gives him a good brushing and special loves. Ed, on the other hand, is a jerk and stays hidden--his loss! Erica is absolutely the best! I don't worry at all about them when she cares for them.

Erica and Zack have been trimming 2 of my black Labs' nails - my young crazy puppy, far too wiggly for me, and my old man (13), who's never liked his nails touched. Erica is fast and efficient, yet also incredibly gentle. And Zack's calm energy really helps to keep both dogs relatively settled. It was so stressful for me and the dogs when I tried to do it myself - I just dont have the confidence to do it well. So they make nail trimming less stressful for everybody. I cant recommend them highly enough!

Erica and Zack have been doing nail trims on my two crazy pitties for quite some time now! Roxy and Archer hated it and my son and I struggled terribly! It didn’t take long before they became very comfortable with Erica and Zack which was such a relief! The fact that they came to our home and were so patient made the dogs trust them implicitly! I highly recommend them!

Erica and Zack did an amazing job with our 100 lb+ mastiff mix who would not let us near his nails. We had been told by his previous trimmer, that the next time we brought him, the price would go up because they would need to use several people to hold him down. We didn't want that experience for him. Instead, he had an extremely patient and calm experience at home where he was made to feel comfortable and safe. He recieved a perfect pedicure. We will not use anyone else.

I cannot recommend Erica and Zack highly enough. They have been clipping my basset's nails for a couple of years now and Erica does a fantastic job. My girl is well named and can be a little 'Sassy' with her nails but they keep her calm and are so kind and gentle with her. Jethro loves his nail trims and gets so excited when he sees their truck pull into the driveway. I am very happy with their services!
